Beer Can Chicken


Beer. Chicken. Yes!



So small chickens were on sale at Kroger and I bought one. Have I ever cooked my own chicken? No. What does a newbie cook? Beer Can Chicken. Duh.

Chelsea, what is this beer can chicken you speak of? Well let me tell you!

Clean out your chicken, rub it with your choice of seasonings, drink a 1/3 of your beer and then shove it up the chickens butt :) nicely of course.... this gives your bird a nice flavor and makes it wonderfully moist (that's what she said)!

I marinated by bird with fresh rosemary and garlic in olive oil and some freshly ground sea salt all over the top.

I also threw some lemons inside the chicken and in the pan and squeezed the juice on the outside.

I forgot to take a pick of the finished chicken but here is one of the final product:



Cheesy artisan bread, caesar salad, mushroom rice and my rosemary beer can chicken!


Dessert you ask? Will banana bread do?
