First off I have to show you my new toys! I got a new paella pan because the lord only knows where my first one went. It's probably lost in the attic at my mom's house somewhere having a party with my missing Pyrex dishes. Live it up you guys, I'll find you one of these days you sneaky bastards you!!! second, I bought a microplane. I fell in love with my mom's because it is perfect for spices, cheeses, zesting, etc plus it was on sale, as was my paella pan :D Thank you Sur La Table for forcing me to spend my hard earned money on your silly gadgets ;-)
In case you were wondering, I accept gifts. Sur La Table, Williams-Sonoma, Container Store and the like. Go ahead spoil me, you know you want to.

Onions! mmm I love the smell of sauteed onions mmmm
Add the diced tomato and garlic
add the cilantro, dill and shrimp
Cook for a few minutes on the stove and then transport this bad boy to the oven. Bake till the shrimp are pink and delicious looking!
While the shrimp is baking throw some spaghetti noodles on the stove. When both are done, plate and serve.
Simple and yummy but next time I'd leave out the dill, definitely not my favorite flavor...
Paella pan is not dancing with Pyrex....I know exactly where it is in the garage. Now you have two. <3 Mom
